AUTISM -- A researcher now at UF Health was part of a multi-site trial that demonstrated that a parent training program reduced behavior problems in children with autism by nearly 50 percent. Findings will appear in JAMA.

Interface 2015 to address “Critical Reflection in Action”
The University of Florida’s Office of Faculty Development and Teaching Excellence will host Interface 2015 on Thursday, April 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Straughn IFAS Extension Professional Development Center. This year’s keynote will be physicist and Harvard University Professor Eric Mazur.

Arts exhibition opens Friday

The Fine Arts College Council at the University of Florida will present the 2014-2015 FACC Juried Arts Exhibition April 24-May 29 in the University Gallery. An opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. and will include a dance performance followed by the awards presentation. “Unconference” scheduled at UF
