UF's College of Design, Construction and Planning to host lectures

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida College of Design, Construction and Planning will host multiple lectures over the next few months from some of the industry’s leading professionals. All of the lectures are free and open to the public.

The talks are presented by both practitioners and academics, and from a diversity of backgrounds, specializations, and geographies.

Sept. 12
Lyn Rice, principal of Lyn Rice Architects, will present “Twisted Constraints” at 6:15 p.m.

Sept. 29
Joe Farcus, principal of Joe Farcus Architect, will present “A Conversation on Things I’ve Learned” at 3 p.m., Norman Hall, Room 137.

Oct. 24
Mark Robbins, dean and professor at Syracuse University School of Architecture will discuss current projects at 6:15 p.m.

Nov. 7

Kai-Uwe Bergmann, partner at BIG, Denmark + New York, will discuss current projects at 6:15 p.m.
