4,000 students to celebrate UF’s Fall Commencement

Four thousand students are expected to graduate from UF this fall during the course of five commencement ceremonies held in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Dec. 12-13.  

The first ceremony, celebrating 265 doctoral graduates, will be held Friday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. 

Bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degree graduates for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, College of Health and Human Performance, College of the Arts, College of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Public Health and Health Professions and College of Veterinary Medicine will begin their ceremony at 7 p.m. Dec. 12.

The bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist’s degrees commencement ceremony for the College of Journalism and Communications and the Warrington College of Business will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 13.

Bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist’s degree graduates for the College of Design, Construction and Planning and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at 2 p.m. Dec. 13.

The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and College of Education’s bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist’s graduates will begin their ceremony at 7 p.m. Dec. 13. 

This fall’s graduates hail from six continents, representing 73 countries and 46 states.

UF Interim President Donald Landry will be the speaker at all five ceremonies.
