UF experts discuss Ukraine infrastructure project with federal committee
The University of Florida’s principal investigators of “Pathways for Infrastructure Resilience in Ukraine” led a virtual presentation on Feb. 6 about their work to members of the White House's Networking and Information Technology Research and Development program and the Fast-Track Action Committee on Cyber-Physical Systems Resilience. The UF team was among three (out of 35 submissions) accepted to comment and present as part of the Federal Registry Request for Information on a National Plan for Cyber-Physical Systems Resilience.
Rafael Munoz-Carpena presented, and Ziynet Boz, Robert Horton and Greg Kiker, all with UF’s Agricultural and Biological Engineering, participated in the Q&A.
“They kept asking questions until 10 minutes past our hour,” Munoz-Carpena said. “The chair had to cut the discussions due to the overtime. The committee was very engaged and had excellent comments about the quality of the submission, ideas and discussion.”
