Bus schedule changes for the holidays

During the holiday season, the Regional Transit System of Gainesville (RTS) will be running a modified service schedule from Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015. 

Below is the revised schedule.

Saturday, Dec. 20 – Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015: RTS will provide reduced service on City Fixed Routes 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 34, 35, 36 and 43.  An “R” on RTS Route Schedules indicates buses that run whenever RTS reduces service on a route. There will be no service on City Fixed Routes 21, 27, 28, 38, 39, 41, 46, 62 and 76. There are no changes in service on remaining City Fixed Routes 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 15, 24, 25 and 75, which will follow their normal fall schedules.

There will no UF Campus or Later Gator service, however, paratransit service will run as usual. 

Wednesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve): RTS will be running its normal Sunday service. Only Routes 1, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 20, 25 and 35 will be running.  Paratransit service will run as usual on a Sunday (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.). There will be no UF Campus or Later Gator service.

Thursday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day): No bus or paratransit service.

Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 (New Year’s Day): No bus or paratransit service.

Normal schedules will resume Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.
