Inés Pasic brings "The Worlds of Fingerman" to UF for U.S. premiere

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — As a part of the puppet duo Hugo & Ines, Inés Pasic has earned accolades from around the world for her striking puppetry. Her latest work, “The Worlds of Fingerman,” a production of Gaia Teatro, takes the audience on a journey like no other.

Gaia Teatro, a company Pasic formed with fellow puppet artist Gabriela Bermudez, created “The Worlds of Fingerman.”
Using only their hands and a few simple props, Pasic and Bermudez take us on a metaphorical journey through air, water, fire and earth in this intimate work of non-verbal puppet theater for audiences of all ages.

Gaia Teatro will present the U.S. premiere of “The Worlds of Fingerman” at the Phillips Center Black Box Theatre Friday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. Seating is by general admission and tickets are $15 per person.

Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Group tickets are also available.

The Phillips Center Box Office is open Monday-Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. and two hours prior to the performance. Performance dates, times and programs are subject to change.
