Joe Little, professor of law emeritus, was quoted in a Sept. 25 Associated Press story about a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleges her husband’s death was hastened by harassing phone calls from a bill collector.

Ted Kury, director of energy studies at UF’s Public Utility Research Center, was quoted in a Sept. 21 South Florida Business Journal story about a computer forecast model to help utilities determine potential savings for hurricane protection. The story was the result of a News Bureau news release.

Fletcher Baldwin, a professor emeritus and constitutional law scholar, was quoted in a Sept. 21 Palm Beach Post story about the state’s questioning of the use of a speed-catching van in Juno Beach.

Kenneth Krysko, senior herpetologist at the Florida Museum of Natural History, was quoted in a Sept. 20 Miami Herald story about the discovery of the African rock python in the Everglades.

Fletcher Baldwin, a professor emeritus and constitutional law scholar, was quoted in a Sept. 18 St. Petersburg Times story about an effort to amend Florida’s Constitution to block any federal health care reform in Florida.

William Hauswirth, an ophthalmic molecular geneticist, was quoted in a Sept. 17 London Sunday Times story about his work to cure two monkeys of color blindness. The story was among many in numerous news media and was the result of a Health Science Center news release.

Trustee Al Warrington was quoted in a Sept. 11 Miami Herald story about his commitment to donate $16 million to increase the number of faculty in the Warrington College of Business Administration. The story was the result of a University of Florida Foundation release.
