Members of the UF chapter of the American Solar Energy Society have spent the last two years refining the Photon Bike, which can now do approximately 25 mph for 20 miles on a fully charged battery. The bike was on display Wednesday on the Reitz Student Union North Lawn. Hevia is a junior civil engineering major from Miami; Shams a senior sociology major from Daytona Beach; and Yaeger a senior building construction major from Fort Lauderdale.
