Special honor
Dave O’Brien, assistant vice president for UF’s Physical Plant Division, presents a plaque honoring Lacy C. Rabon Jr. to Rabon’s family during the dedication of the Lacy C. Rabon Jr. Chilled Water Plant on the UF campus on Friday. Rabon, who died last spring, worked at UF for 45 years as a leader in the university’s HVAC Department. His employees petitioned the University of Florida Board of Trustees to accord him this honor in recognition of his long service and devotion to The Gator Nation.
