GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The following sources at the University of Florida are available to speak with the news media on topics related to the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
WHO: University of Florida President Bernie Machen.
WHAT: In his annual State of the University speech before the Faculty Senate, Machen will discuss matters of university interest, including proposed pay raises and faculty diversity, and a current effort to re-examine and renew UF’s doctoral programs.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Laurie Underwood, co-author of the book “China Entrepreneur,” will present a program titled “China Today: High Risk, High Potential” at 3 p.m. Aug. 4 at Smathers Library, Room 1A.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — University of Florida Performing Arts and UF&Shands will kick off Chords of Color for a Cause with The Fab Faux at the Phillips Center on July 22. The five musicians of The Fab Faux recreate the famous works and perennial hits of the Beatles, and also feature songs never performed live.
