Archaeologist Susan Gillespie was quoted in a Feb. 10 Associated Press story about the discovery of a mass grave in Mexico that may hold the skeletal remains of the Aztecs who fought conquistador Hernan Cortes.

Physicist Jacobo Konigsberg was quoted in a Feb. 19 Associated Press story about the race between the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory’s Tevatron accelerator and the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland to find evidence of a hypothetical particle called the Higgs boson, better known as the “God Particle.” Konigsberg works at Fermilab.

Shark expert George Burgess was quoted in a Feb. 19 Associated Press story about the annual report from the International Shark File, which is housed at UF. The report was the subject of numerous stories worldwide. The stories were the result of a News Bureau news release.

WHAT: The official groundbreaking of William R. Hough Hall, which will house the Hough Graduate School of Business in the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida. The 70,000 square-foot building is projected to be completed in fall 2010.
