UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA BOARD OF TRUSTEES
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

Please take notice that the following special session/meetings of the University of Florida Board of Trustees and its Committee on Governance, meetings of the University of Florida Board of Trustees’ Committees, and meeting of the University of Florida Board of Trustees will be held at the following times and places:

Date: March 16-17, 2017

Place: Emerson Alumni Hall, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL

Purpose: Special Session/Meetings of the University of Florida Board of Trustees and Its Committee on Governance and Meetings of the University of Florida Board of Trustees and its Committees

On March 16, 2017, at the above-referenced place, beginning at 10:30 a.m. EDT, there will be a special session/meetings of the University of Florida Board of Trustees Committee on Governance and the Board of Trustees and then the following Committees of the University of Florida Board of Trustees will have meetings, beginning at 12:45 p.m. EDT, in the following sequence, with one meeting or break (each called a session) beginning immediately after the prior session ends and continuing until all sessions have concluded, and with the following times for the sessions being estimates (as sessions will occur earlier or later depending on time needed for each session as determined by its chair or the Board Chair)—except that the first session of the day will begin no earlier than the time listed below and the Board is not required to meet later than the estimated end of the last session of the day:

On March 17, 2017, the University of Florida Board of Trustees will attend the President’s Campaign Cabinet Update beginning at 9:30 a.m. EDT followed immediately by a Strategic Discussion. Immediately following the end of the Strategic Discussion, there will be a ~10 minute break, and immediately after the break the Board Meeting will begin as follows:

1. President’s Campaign Cabinet Update and Strategic Discussion, President’s Room 215B
2. ~10 minute break
3. Board of Trustees Meeting, President’s Room 215B

Meeting agendas are posted on the Board of Trustees web site http://trustees.ufl.edu/ and copies of agendas may also be obtained, and any requests must be made, by writing to: Brigit Dermott, Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees, Post Office Box 113125, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida 32611 or calling 352-392-1358.

Each day of meetings and breaks will begin at approximately the time listed above (not earlier) and then meetings and breaks will be held in the sequence listed above and on the agendas. The agendas provide estimated schedules for each session, but actual times will vary and depend on the time needed for each session as determined by the session chair or the Board Chair. The Board and its Committees are not required, however, to meet later on any day than the estimated time for the end of that day.
