New Engineering Building re-opens after bomb threat

The University of Florida’s New Engineering Building reopened just after 3 p.m. today following an intense sweep with police officers and K-9s following a bomb threat. The building was evacuated about 10 a.m. when a handwritten threat was found. The UF Police Department discovered no evidence of anything suspicious and has cleared the scene. Students, faculty and staff may now enter the building. Classes in that building will resume on a regular schedule Thursday.
