Annual UF Health community health and wellness expo promotes screenings, awareness

UF Health experts will discuss the risks for osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer, stroke and diabetes, and provide tips about stress reduction, integrative medicine, exercise, planting a healthy garden and more.

The event will also feature a 30-foot-long giant inflatable colon to raise awareness about colon health and the importance of regular screenings. Attendees will be able to see the effects of disease on one of the body’s most important but underappreciated organs. The event is free and open to the public but advance registration is requested.
