Media encouraged to submit credentials soon for National Policy Institute event

MEDIA WHO HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED CREDENTIAL REQUESTS, PLEASE NOTE: The time of Richard Spencer’s planned news conference has changed. The new time is 12:45 p.m. in the Black Box Theater of the Phillips Center.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- News media who plan to cover the National Policy Institute event at the University of Florida on Oct. 19 should submit their media credential requests soon for NPI review as space is limited and spots are filling quickly.

To request credentials, send an email to media-requests@ufl.edu that includes:

  • names and titles of those attending
  • contact information, including a cell number
  • name of the news organization
  • number and types of vehicles to be parked (please specify if the vehicle is a satellite truck).

Credentials for covering the event as well as for parking will be available for pick-up the day of the event from a law enforcement officer at the corner of Museum Road and Hull Road on campus.
