UF Libraries debut online exhibition as companion to opening of Harn wing

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida George A. Smathers Libraries have debuted the online exhibition, “Korean Art: Collecting Treasures,” to coincide with this weekend’s opening of the Harn Museum’s David A. Cofrin Asian Art Wing and as a permanent companion to the temporary exhibition.

Author-commentator Sarah Vowell to speak at UF Monday

Pioneering neuroscientist who founded UF’s McKnight Brain Institute passes away

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Neuroscientist William G. “Bill” Luttge, 68, the founding executive director of the Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute of the University of Florida, died on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Shands at UF medical center. His wife, sons and other family members were at his side.
