UF participates in nation’s largest science and technology festival

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida’s departments of astronomy, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and the Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences will participate in the USA Science & Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C., Saturday and Sunday.

Work plans for Newberry Road exit ramps revised

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The closure of the Interstate 75 southbound ramp onto Newberry Road that was scheduled for Tuesday night has been rescheduled to Wednesday night while the northbound exit ramp will be closed Tuesday night for paving, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
