20th annual event to benefit public radio, March 1

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — WUFT-FM Classic 89 and WJUF-FM Nature Coast 90 will celebrate 20 years of annual fundraising on Sunday March 1. The event will include silent and live auctions, artwork, culinary treats and a wine tasting from 1 to 4 p.m. in the University of Florida’s Reitz Union Grand Ballroom.

Eastside High School group to raise funds for UF center for autism

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Eastside High School’s Students Together for Autism Research, also called STAR, will host the 2nd Annual Autism Awareness 5K Walk-Run on Feb. 28.
