Fans asked to bring canned foods to Saturday’s game

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida’s Gators Canned Goods Challenge for Kids already has helped raise more than 3,300 pounds of food for the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank in Gainesville, but many local food banks are in dire need of contributions to assist families for the upcoming holiday season.

African beadwork exhibition now open at the Harn

Gator swimming and diving teams take on South Carolina on Nov. 8

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Gator swimming and diving teams will hold a meet at 2 p.m. on Nov. 8 against South Carolina.
The meet also will mark UF Student, Faculty and Staff Day. The first 150 students, faculty and staff who show their Gator 1 ID card will get a free slice of pizza.
