N.C. arts school provost named dean of UF’s College of Fine Arts

BellSouth Foundation awards $600,000 grant to University of Florida College of Education

UF addiction medicine chief honored for lifetime achievements

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Dr. Mark Gold, a distinguished professor and chief of addiction medicine at the McKnight Brain Institute of the University of Florida, received the Nelson J. Bradley lifetime achievement award from the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers on Monday in Palm Beach.

UF junior chosen as one of 20 Beinecke Scholarship winners nationwide

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Beinecke Foundation has selected Jenna Battillo, a junior majoring in anthropology and classical studies and minoring in geological sciences at the University of Florida, as one of 20 national winners of the prestigious Beinecke Scholarship.

UF’s Rinker School receives $100,000 gift

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The UF South Florida BCN Alumni Club presented a $100,000 check to the M.E. Rinker Sr. School of Building Construction at the school’s 70th Anniversary Banquet and Fundraiser May 9. The gift will help fund the school’s 70th Anniversary Endowed Faculty Support Fund to provide for new faculty members.
