Winners announced in Museum photography contest

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Jon Sund of Green Cove Springs and Miranda Bennett of Archer received top honors in this year’s ButterflyFest Pollinator Photography Contest. The winners were announced Oct. 23 during an awards presentation at the Florida Museum of Natural History’s fifth annual ButterflyFest.

Capture-the-flag tourney raises $1,502 for Boys and Girls Club

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Theta Delta Chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity recently held its annual capture-the-flag tournament between the members of the University of Florida Panhellenic Council to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County. The event raised $1,502.

Russian State Symphony Orchestra performance canceled
