Free comedy show! (Some Strings Attached)

April 20, 2015

That’s the name of the show: Some Strings Attached. And it really is free.

Generation Sketch Comedy will perform this Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. at the Reitz Union Cinema (in the Reitz Auditorium). Some Strings Attached is a sketch comedy show written by members of the group.

Admission is free for UF students and the public. This is the 20th show presented by Generation Sketch Comedy, which was formed in 2006 and is the longest-running sketch comedy troupe in Gainesville.

A University of Florida student organization funded by Student Government, Generation Sketch Comedy performs a show each fall and spring semester.

The group’s stated purpose is to “help members improve their writing and acting skills and give them the experience of putting on a comedy show, all while having fun and preparing a top-notch sketch comedy show.”
