TUMORS: When it comes to better outcomes for brain tumor patients, insurance matters. A new study published by the department of neurological surgery found that patients with private insurance spent less time in the hospital and had a smaller chance of ending up in a nursing home, rehabilitation facility or hospice than those who had Medicaid or were self-paying.
