The UF International Center will hold the spring 2015 Study Abroad Fair Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Plaza of the Americas.

International Center Study Abroad Services staff will be available to explain the application process and help students find the right program. Study abroad program directors, independent program directors and students who have participated in previous programs will also be available to share their experiences.

Study abroad programs can satisfy residency requirements and most financial aid can be applied toward them. They also provide students the opportunity to discover new cultures, increase global awareness, enhance foreign language skills, make new friends and create new contacts. In the last year, more than 2,000 students have studied abroad. Overseas internships are available as well.

The UF International Center encourages prospective “Global Gators” to stop by 1765 Stadium Road, Suite 170 HUB or visit
