GAINESVILLE, Fla.--- "By The Way, Meet Vera Stark," a recent comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage, chronicles 70 years in the life of Vera Stark, a determined African-American maid and would-be Hollywood actress.
