How to succeed in the restaurant business

Local restaurateur Shawn Shepherd will offer UF students practical advice on owning a restaurant or simply working in the culinary field on Monday, Nov. 24, from 6:15pm to 8:15pm at Stuzin Hall, Room 200. The event will be hosted by the Entrepreneurship Club at UF.

Shepherd is a seasoned entrepreneur and successful co-owner of Vellos Brickstreet Grill and Wahoo Seafood Grill. He is also president of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.
