UF staffers reach out to welcome students

August 15, 2014

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida divisions of Business Affairs, Student Affairs and Human Resources are sponsoring the 14th annual Ask Me Campaign Aug. 19-26.

Administrative staff from Business Affairs, Student Affairs and Human Resources as well as student leaders will greet new students and parents and distribute water during residence hall check-in Aug. 19 and the first two days of classes Aug. 25-26.  During Welcome Week and the first two days of class, UF staff campus-wide will actively seek out new students and provide extra assistance to make the first days on campus a less confusing and more pleasant experience for all new Gators.

The Ask Me Campaign is part of the ONE TEAM initiative – a project bringing together staff from across campus in joint outreach efforts to provide focused and engaged customer service to all students.
