GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- The following events are scheduled in the near future at the University of Florida:

Celebration for students

Gatormania, a carnival-like celebration with free food and live performances showcasing a variety of student organizations and campus partners, will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight July 18 in the Reitz Student Union. Students are encouraged to come this year to hear a special announcement about the entertainment for this fall’s Gator Growl.

Creative summer continues

Creative B activities continue to bring culture, creativity and performances to campus during the summer B semester. . For more information, go to http://creativeb.aa.ufl.edu/.

Among the events is “Moving Water,” a ritualistic art installation at 2 p.m. July 30 in which people will bring a small vessel of water from various areas and walk from Library West to the ceramic tile mural on the CSE Building near the Hub.
