RTS to reduce service on some routes during break

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- Regional Transit System will reduce bus service during the University of Florida's summer A and B term break, June 23-28.

RTS will provide reduced service on City Fixed Routes 9, 10, 12, 13, 20, 23, 34 and 35. An “R” on RTS route Schedules (printed and online) indicates buses that run whenever RTS reduces service on a route.

There will be no service on City Fixed Routes 38 and 46.  UF Campus service will also be suspended.

There are no changes in service on remaining City Fixed Routes 1, 2A, 2B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 15, 16, 17,  24, 25A, 25B, 43 and 75, which will follow their normal Summer 2014 schedules. Paratransit service will not be affected.

Normal summer service will resume Monday, June 30.  However, there will be no bus or paratransit service on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Later Gator service will resume operations on Wednesday, July 2.

Routes 21, 27, 28, 36, 38T, 39, 41, 62, 76 and 77 continue to be not operate until Aug. 18.
