UF Health and Healogics partner to form new wound care center in Gainesville

WHAT:  

UF Health has partnered with Healogics to open the new UF Health Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Magnolia Parke this week.

Medical director John Caroline, D.O., an assistant professor in the University of Florida department of community health and family medicine, leads a comprehensive medical team committed to bringing highly specialized wound care to patients with chronic wounds.

Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care in the nation, and specializes in healing chronic wounds that have not healed within 30 days. The company has 500 wound care centers across the nation and treats 200,000 patients each year.

WHEN:

The new Wound Care Center will be open for media tours from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20. Members of the media can interview providers and tour the new space.

UF Health Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Magnolia Parke, 3951 NW 48th Terrace, Suite 211, Gainesville.
