UF launches #GatorNationIsEverywhere Instagram campaign
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The #UFSocial team at the University of Florida has launched an Instagram campaign to show that The Gator Nation extends well beyond Gainesville’s city limits.
Starting now through summer break, the team will feature photos of Gators all over the world on UF’s official Instagram account (http://instagram.com/uflorida). The team is looking for students, faculty, alumni and fans who are traveling or studying abroad to show their Gator pride by Gator chomping or wearing Gator gear in their photos.
Participants can submit their photos via Instagram by tagging @uflorida and using #GatorNationIsEverywhere. The team will vet the photos and request permission to repost the image on UF’s Instagram account.
Participants should make sure their submitted photo includes the location in the description and that their Instagram account is not set on private.
The #UFSocial Team is a part of UF University Relations. It manages and creates the content for the UF and UF Alumni accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube and Vine). Its goal is to promote and engage conversation between UF’s social media accounts and its students, alumni and fans.
