Teresa Olczyk, director for the UF/IFAS Miami-Dade County Extension, and E. Vanessa Campoverde, a commercial horticulture extension agent with the UF/IFAS Miami-Dade County Extension, were quoted in a Jan. 14 article in the Miami Herald discussing the possible effects the cold South Florida weather has on plants and crops.
