Expert panel to address ethical practices in seafood sourcing

WHAT: A panel of national experts will provide the latest perspectives on ethical considerations of seafood sourcing, from harvest to table. The discussion is sponsored by the Poe Center for Business Ethics at the University of Florida, and Darden Restaurants.

WHY: America is a nation of seafood lovers, but deciding which seafood to buy and eat can be difficult because of confusing messages. The panel will address such questions as how can consumers choose what fish they should buy? How are fishermen addressing seafood conservation in their practices? With demand outstripping supply, how is the fishing industry working to harvest fish in a way that feeds people today and in the future?
