Staff, student leaders to reach out to students during first days

August 14, 2013

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — University of Florida administrators and student leaders will greet new students and parents and distribute water during residence hall check-in Aug. 16 and the first two days of classes Aug. 21–22.

The divisions of Business Affairs, Student Affairs and Human Resources are sponsoring the 13th annual Ask Me Campaign.

During Welcome Week and the first two days of class, UF staff campuswide will actively seek new students and provide extra assistance to make the first days on campus a less confusing and more pleasant experience for all new Gators.

The Ask Me Campaign is part of the ONE TEAM initiative – a project bringing together staff from across campus in joint outreach efforts to provide focused and engaged customer service to all students.
