Community Alcohol Coalition meets Friday in Emerson Alumni Hall

WHO: Members of the Community Alcohol Coalition, representing the University of Florida, Santa Fe College, Alachua County Schools and Gainesville Police Department.

WHAT: To discuss progress on goals to reduce excessive drinking, eliminate underage drinking, reduce ills associated with excessive alcohol use and create social opportunities not related to alcohol use.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon, May 10.

WHERE: Emerson Alumni Hall, West University Avenue, Gainesville.

AGENDA: Reports will be made by Dave Kratzer, UF vice president of student affairs; Maureen Miller, director, UF Gatorwell Health Promotion Services; Joan Scully, UF Counseling & Wellness Center; Naima Brown, interim vice president of student affairs at Santa Fe College; and Lt. Brian Helmerson, Gainesville Police Department.
