WUFT News to provide election coverage today

GAINESVILLE — WUFT News at the University of Florida will provide team coverage of today‘s general election on multiple media platforms at the UF College of Journalism and Communications.

All-day: Coverage of voter turnout, updates on local races.
Election results: Begins at 7 p.m.

WUFT-FM and WJUF-FM
Election results: Coverage begins at 8 p.m. with national results and commentary from National Public Radio and local results from the WUFT news team. Local results will air at the top and bottom of each hour, with extended local segments near the end of each half-hour segment from 8 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m. (or later if results are not in). The NPR national election coverage will air until 3 a.m.

WUFT-TV
Election results: Florida’s 5 WUFT-TV will air national election coverage from PBS NewsHour beginning at 8 p.m., after the regular NewsHour programming. Local results will be shared right before the top of each hour.

WRUF-TV
WRUF-TV, Channel 6 on Cox-Gainesville channel 6 and digital 10.1 will have local results at :21 and :41 past each hour. A special half-hour local results show will air on WRUF-TV at 10 p.m.
