UF College of Pharmacy co-hosts Literacy Carnival for local children, families

WHAT:
The University of Florida College of Pharmacy and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association have teamed up with Target to put on a local “Literacy Carnival.” The carnival will feature booths with reading, writing and spelling games — with prizes — for elementary-aged children and their families; and a bounce house. The goals of the event are to engage pharmacy students with members of their community and to promote reading and literacy among young children.

11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1

Eastside Community Center, 2841 E. University Ave., Gainesville
