Students invited to open house to learn more about various communities

August 16, 2012

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The offices for the University of Florida’s Center for Leadership, Multicultural and Diversity Affairs, and Off Campus Life will host an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 28 in 301 Peabody Hall.

This event is open to UF undergraduate students and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff. Students will meet other students and the staff of the offices in an informal setting to learn about getting involved on and off campus, navigating university life and building a community inside UF.

This is an excellent opportunity for students, faculty and staff at UF to learn how the offices operate. They are a place for life advising and planning. They promote campus involvement, volunteer opportunities and diversity. They also provide information about off-campus housing and life, helping students become part of various UF communities.
