We are continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Beryl.

Tropical storm winds are not currently forecast for the University of Florida campus.  However, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory effective from 8pm Sunday through 6pm Monday, indicating winds of 25mph with gusts up to 35mph are possible.

Individuals should continue to monitor local media for changes in Beryl’s forecast and potential severe weather. WUFT offers a tropical weather update on their site.

Plans currently call for UF work and school activities to remain on a normal schedule. Should the storm’s predicted track change or should forecast conditions for the Gainesville area worsen, new information will be posted on UF’s home page.
