May 30, 2012

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The 2012 Graduate Student Grants and Fellowships Conference will be held Friday in the University of Florida’s Health Professions, Nursing, and Pharmacy Building, known as HPNP.

This year’s conference will have many speakers and breakout sessions that detail opportunities for federal fellowships, dissertation awards and grants for international students. Students will also be able to learn from other students’ successes, and work directly with some of the largest grant and fellowship funding organizations in the U.S.

Representatives from the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Ford Foundation Fellowship and many other guests will participate. This is the largest conference of its kind in Florida. Registration will be required for attendees and can be completed online at http://gradschool.ufl.edu/gimsportal/gatorlink/portal.asp.

The 2012 Graduate Student Grants and Fellowships Conference is sponsored by the UF Graduate School, the NSF funded Innovation through Institutional Integration Program, the Office of Research, George A. Smathers Libraries and the College of Public Health and Health Professions.
