Ribbon-Cutting and Dedication for David A. Cofrin Asian Art Wing

BACKGROUND:
The new David A. Cofrin Asian Art Wing at the Harn Museum of Art will make the University of Florida one of the leading university-based centers for the study and preservation of Asian art in the Southeast. During the inaugural exhibitions more than 680 works from China, India, Japan, Korea, and South and Southeast Asia, dating from the Neolithic period to the present day, will be on view. Two gardens inspired by Asian gardening principles will flank the new wing.
