Harn Museum of Art offers spring break camp for children
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — For the first time, the Harn Musuem of Art at the University of Florida is offering an art camp for children ages 7 to 11 years old during the Alachua County Schools’ spring break, April 2–6.
A well-qualified, local art educator will lead small classes in gallery explorations and fun art-making projects, providing many opportunities to be creative.
The morning session runs from 9 a.m. to noon and the afternoon session runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Children enrolled in both the morning and afternoon sessions should bring a sack lunch. An adult will supervise the lunch hour.
Morning and afternoon sessions are $140 per child for non-members and $120 per child for members. Full-day sessions are $280 per child for non-members and $240 per child for members.
Pre-registration is required. For more information and to register, please contact Lisa Stevens at 352-392-9826, ext. 2112, or email@example.com.
Each camp session will be limited to the first 12 registered children. The deadline for paid registrations is March 23.
