UFPD offers Spring Break Safety Fair Thursday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — To prepare University of Florida students for spring break next week, the University of Florida Police Department hosts the 29th Annual UFPD Spring Break Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday on Reitz Student Union North Lawn.

The fair will include safety information by the UFPD Community Services Division, including numerous special displays and activities, the UFPD Office of Victim Services, Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center, GatorWell, and UF Student Legal Services. The UFPD/CSD will also provide free bicycle theft prevention registrations.

The fair consistently receives the annual support of businesses and public safety organizations from around the community and state.
