Student Government elections scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Spring elections for Student Government at the University of Florida will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The polling locations are as follows:

Broward Hall Basement
Jennings 1st floor study room
Springs Area Office Room 202
Murphree Area Commons
Reitz Union 3rd floor Computer Lab
McCarty Hall B Computer Lab B
Southwest Rec Center
Levin Law School Student Lounge
CSE Computer Lab *
Marston Science Library
Health Science Center
Library Collaboration Center **

* Available only on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
** Available only on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Each UF student pays about $14 per credit hour or approximately $350 to $600 per year to fund the $16.7 million budget the Student Government receives each year. But less than 20 percent of the student body votes every year.
