Employees can get prescriptions filled while at work

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — University of Florida faculty and staff have a convenient new option for getting needed medications quickly and easily.

They can bring prescriptions to the UF Student Health Care Center Pharmacy and it doesn’t matter whether the medical provider is on or off campus. The pharmacy accepts university-sponsored and commercial insurance plans, as well as self pay. Employees can call or stop by to see whether their insurance is accepted.

They can also get low-cost health, wellness and beauty items such as shampoo, skin care products, cold medications, pain relievers and first-aid supplies.
