Dr. J. Crayton Pruitt Sr., major benefactor of the University of Florida College of Engineering, died Oct. 8 in St. Petersburg, Fla. His gifts along with those from his family established the Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering. See College of Engineering tribute.
