Atmospheric scientist to present seminar on Florida climate projections

BACKGROUND:
Hayhoe will be giving a seminar titled “Climate projections for Florida: Can we trust the models?”

Hayhoe is an atmospheric scientist with an expertise in climate change issues related to global modeling, regional climate impacts, and science-policy interface. Her areas of expertise include greenhouse gas emissions and control policies, numerical modeling of the earth-atmosphere system, and regional assessments of climate change impacts across a range of sectors including water resources, human health, agriculture and natural ecosystems.
