More than 2,500 students expected in residence halls next week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Residence hall check-in for the Summer B semester at the University of Florida starts at noon June 22 and continues through June 26 at 10 residence halls.

They are: Murphree Hall, Sledd Hall, Thomas Hall, Reid Hall, Yulee Hall, Rawlings Hall, West Beaty Towers, Springs Residential Complex, Lakeside Residential Complex and Keys Residential Complex. Other residence halls host summer camps and conferences or are closed for renovations this summer.

UF will be welcoming between 2,500 and 2,600 campus residents and their families during Summer B check-in. As the new residents park on a short-term basis and unload their vehicles, faculty and staff working summer break week can expect to see an impact near and in all red zone parking lots as well as the following staff parking lots: orange and car pool spaces adjacent to Yulee Area along SW 13th Street, and orange and car pool spaces adjacent to Murphree Area.

Summer B classes start June 27.
