Magicians Penn and Teller to perform free show at UF

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Magicians Penn and Teller will be performing at the University of Florida on Feb. 9 in the Phillips Center For Performing Arts, courtesy of ACCENT Speaker’s Bureau and Student Government.

Penn and Teller are Las Vegas headliners, whose act is a blend of illusion and comedy. They specialize in gory tricks, exposing frauds and performing clever pranks.

They are also stars of the Showtime hit “Penn & Teller: Bullshit!” which aims to debunk paranormal beliefs, pseudoscientific ideas and popular fads and misconceptions.

Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will start at 8 p.m. Tickets will be available for pickup starting at 6 p.m.

The event will be free and open to the public, courtesy of ACCENT and Student Government.
