Students can learn more about managing finances

GAINESVILLE, Fla.— The University of Florida chapter of the Students in Free Enterprise will host Young Money L!VE, a national tour that teaches students about financial literacy, on Tuesday.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Plaza of the Americas, Young Money L!IVE will be teaching students how to manage their money with games, prizes and activities. Campus USA Credit Union, the event sponsor, will provide information and giveaways.

Young Money L!iVE visits more than 25 college campuses to promote healthy financial habits that students can carry into the future.

David Yakobovitch, program coordinator for UF SIFE said, “In these challenging economic times, college students are facing many challenges to remain debt-free. Young Money L!VE provides the financial literacy they need for success.”
